Finally Testing the Rokionon 14mm f2.8

I got this lens back in December to use for night photography. Unfortunately here in Maine winter is pretty damn cloudy and there haven’t really been any clear nights, and if they are, they’re frigid. Luckily, the past week we’ve had a bit of a late February “heat” wave.

I was lucky enough that the night before my 27th birthday this week, the temperatures were tolerable, and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. I headed out with my camera and the 14mm to take some photos of the stars. I only got two bangers, but I can already tell this lens is going to be used a helluva lot once the conditions are more stable.
